Vivo T1x: Design

Vivo T1x is a really attractive looking phone in its segment. It can bought in two colors Black and Blue. We had the Black variant for review which comes with a plastic back panel, although you can deceived when you take it in hand. You will feel that you are using only a phone with glass back. The back panel of the phone is flat and the camera bump is slightly higher but the cover glass of the lens has reduced. At the bottom is the speaker grille and headphone jack along with the Type-C port.

There is a fingerprint sensor in the power button of the phone. The back panel comes with a shiny finish. Different angles of light come out differently. The T1x is 8mm thin and weighs 182 grams. In this case, it will called a slim and live phone. Adapter, back cover, charging cable and SIM card ejector are available in the box with the phone. Overall, the design of Vivo phone T1x is going to impress.

T1x: Display

This new Vivo phone Vivo T1x has a 6.58 inch IPS LCD display which comes with Full HD Plus resolution. Due to the LCD display, the colors are well received, not the best. Icons and text are crisp. The screen to body ratio of the display is 90.6%. There is a notch in the middle of the display and the refresh rate of the display is 90Hz, although you can use it at 60Hz as well. With light gaming and multimedia apps, there is no problem with the refresh rate. Screen scrolling is good.

Vivo T1x Performance

T1x has Snapdragon 680 processor which is a midrange octa-core processor. The Vivo T1x offers up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage for performance. 2GB virtual RAM is also available withT1x. Funtouch OS 12 operating system is available with the phone along with Android 11, although now Android 12 is also available in low range phones. Vivo has disappointed in this matter. The T1x comes with a lot of bloatware that you can uninstall.

With Funtouch OS 12, modes like Split Screen, Smart Mirroring, Dynamic Lock Screen and Ultra Game are available. Talking about the performance, apart from web surfing, social media scrolling, phone calls and video watching and gaming

Ultra Game Mode helps in handling game mode heavy games as well. The phone is a bit slow when multitasking and about 20-25 tabs are open simultaneously. So overall, T1x is a good phone for a common user. The phone does not heat up fast. Fingerprint sensor and face unlock performance is good.

Vivo T1x : Camera

The 50-megapixel lens performs well in daylight, but the 2-megapixel portrait lens disappoints. In portrait mode, the subject get blurred.

If the digital zoom is average, then it would be better for you to crop by clicking in 50 megapixel mode.

Night mode is worthy of praise. Some times the photo will burnt or overexposed even in daylight. Front camera is fine.

The skin tone is also satisfactory. 1080 pixels i.e. Full HD video recording can done from both the rear and front cameras.

Vivo T1x Battery and Connectivity

The Vivo T1x packs a 5000mAh battery with an 18W charger in the box, although there are also 33W charging phones in this range. In normal use, the battery of Vivo T1x can support the whole day, but in heavy use you will have to charge. It also takes more than one and a half hours to fully charge the battery, which is a bit disappointing. For connectivity in T1x, accelerometer, gyroscope and proximity sensor are available. T1x also gets 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio and USB Type-C port.
